1. Who we are

Kaanch Kahani is a handmade resin art business run by Rita Pandey (sole proprietor), Sigra, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh 221010. "We", "us" and "our" mean Kaanch Kahani; "you" means the person placing an order or using this website. Contact: support@kaanchkahani.com.

2. Orders

When you ask to order a piece (through this website, email, Instagram or WhatsApp), we confirm the details, price and date with you. Your order is accepted once we confirm it and receive the advance or full payment. We may decline an order, for example a design we can't make well, or one that copies someone else's characters, logos or artwork.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Indian Rupees, as shown when you order. Delivery charges are added separately, and we tell you the amount before you pay.
• A 50% advance confirms a made-to-order piece; the balance is paid before dispatch. Where a "Buy now" option is shown, you can pay the full amount online.
• Online payments are processed by our payment partner; we never see or store your card details or UPI PIN.

4. Handmade pieces

Each piece is made by hand, so colours, patterns, bubbles and the placement of flowers vary slightly from photos and from piece to piece. Photos on this website and on Instagram show real pieces we have made; yours will be made to match as closely as handmade work allows.

5. Personalisation and what you send us

• We make names, initials and text exactly as you confirm them in writing, so please check the spelling.
• When you send photos, flowers or designs, you confirm you have the right to use them. We use them only to make your piece.
• Flowers you send should be fresh and reach us within 2 days of the occasion. Natural materials vary, and we can't guarantee the result for flowers that arrive spoiled.

7. Care and safety

• Never leave a burning candle unattended. Use tealights only in the metal cups provided, and keep lit candles away from children, pets, curtains and anything that can catch fire.
• Our pieces are decorative. Resin is not for holding food or drinks unless we say so for a particular piece.
• Keep resin away from direct sunlight and heat, which can soften it or turn it yellow.
• Jewellery and small charms are not toys; keep them away from small children.

8. Our designs and photos

The designs, photos and text on this website and our Instagram belong to Kaanch Kahani. Please don't copy or sell them. We share photos of a customer's piece only with their permission if it shows their photos, names or family.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute can't be settled by talking to us first, the courts at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in force when you ordered apply to that order.
