This policy explains how Kaanch Kahani (Rita Pandey, Sigra, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh 221010) handles your personal data, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Questions: support@kaanchkahani.com.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, phone number, email, delivery address and the details of your order, including any names, photos or flowers you send for personalisation.
• When you pay: payments go through your UPI app or our payment partner. We receive confirmation that you paid, not your card number, bank password or UPI PIN.
• When you visit this website: there are no accounts, sign-up forms or advertising trackers, and the site sets no cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure, and the site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address.

Why we use it

Only to make and deliver your order, keep you updated about it, handle refunds, and keep the records the law requires. We don't send you marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell your data.

Who we share it with

• The courier delivering your parcel (name, address and phone number).
• Our payment partner, to process payments and refunds.
• The service you choose to talk to us on (email, Instagram or WhatsApp), which carries your messages.
• Government authorities, only when the law requires it.

Your photos and personal content

Photos and names you send for a personalised piece are used only to make it. We delete them within 30 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them for a re-order, and we never post them without your permission.

How long we keep data

Order details are kept only as long as needed to complete your order and handle any issue with it, and for as long as tax and accounting laws require us to keep sales records.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (except records the law requires us to keep), and you can withdraw consent for anything that relies on it. Email support@kaanchkahani.com. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Orders should be placed by adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

We keep order details in password-protected accounts and share them only as described above.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
